At first, it worked well, but the problem is ocuring everytime now essentialy with bootable Acronis. I can then put Ignore all and backup continue till the end.
Whenever I backup from Windows I have no errors. But I can't do that because of the drives I backup that are damaged. Then, it's a file system problem, or a driver problem in the bootable version of Acronis which messed up my datas. Any idea? Its been a while since I've looked at what WD offers. I'll try and do that for you later today. If the hardware tests are OK, then yes, its file system related and at that point, you will likely need to start over.
Meaning, wipe the disks and restore from back up. If you don't have a back up current or previous that will complete without error or validate successfully, you have fewer options. In the case of hardware failure, you can usually replace the defective member and rebuild a mirror. It is often helpful identifying problems with an array including rebuilding options.
You should be ok since with RAID 1, both disks contain a full image of your data. If you don't have or cannot back up your dtat safely, I would back up what I could manually before moving forward. But I think I'll do as you recommand and erase everything and restart from scratch my array.

I am using the previous hard drives and have wiped them clean using the configuration utlity that comes with the RAID bios. I have tried unsuccessfully to restore the images to the "new" machine with no luck. I can, however, load a fresh copy of Win XP Pro onto the new machine I just can't seem to get my data back from the previous. The funny not ha-ha! I would say your suspicions are correct.

I want to know exactly how I can go about using ATI to restore a system image in case disaster should strike. I have read various knowledge base articles relating to Bitlocker which, to be honest, do not really explain things very acronis disk director 12 rk.x free at least not to me. There is no need to suspend BL before doing the backup as it should be automatically unlocked when you sign in to Windows. Any attempt to recover the above backup started from within Windows will fail simply because the Linux temporary environment that is used by ATI does not have any ability to work with BL encrypted drives or even allow them to be unlocked.
You will need to either enter the BL key or password in the rescue environment but if you include this on the rescue media it does provide a potential security exposure if that media is stolen etc. If you create the 'Simple' version of the ATI rescue media, and do this on Windows 10 Pro which has BitLocker support, then this is included in the rescue media but there are some steps that are needed in order to access a BitLocker encrypted drive in the rescue environment.
When you boot into the rescue environment, you will see a black Command prompt window жмите сюда with the main ATI application window. You need to close the ATI window in order to have access to the command prompt in the black window. Ссылка have found that if I want to restore an ATI backup onto a Bitlocker encrypted drive then the best way to do this is to unlock Bitlocker and then decrypt it through Command Prompt after booting with the bootable media. This seems logical but I wonder whether this is necessary or whether there is a way of getting ATI to restore to the drive without doing this. It's only necessary to unlock the drive using the command prompt from the rescue media. You don't need to decrypt it.
I have tried merely unlocking the drive as described above by Steve and then acronis disk director 12 rk.x free ATI and carrying out a restore.
Unfortunately, just as the restore process is about to start the system requires a reboot. This results, at least in my case, in restoration process failing as I suspect the reboot locks the drive again and so ATI cannot write to it.
I assume that this does not occur when you restore your system image to a Bitlocker encrypted drive. Please confirm. I just was interested to know whether the program is designed to work when the OS drive has been unlocked but not decrypted.
